As you may have seen in the Argus-Courier, Judge Wick denied our CEQA lawsuit. Our attorney tells us that the grounds for denial are not correct. Shall we go for an appeal? That will necessitate more funds.
Do we let the last original riparian habitat on the North Petaluma River disappear? Do we abandon the river corridor? Will this project contribute to flooding? Can we trust the developers when they say there is little risk of flooding, when we were told that about the auto mall and the factory outlets? They flooded. Will this time be different? Will there be flooding downtown or in the Payran/Midtown neighborhood?
What do you think we should do?
I hope we can continue fighting this project, as our river habitat is unquestionably worth the effort. Regrettably, I have few financial resources to support the effort however.
